IDA provides inclusive social, educational, recreational, and support programs that enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual challenges and promote community engagement across the New River Valley.
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Eric Greenberg passed away peacefully in his sleep earlier this week.
Eric was a valued member of the IDA community. He will be remembered fondly, and our thoughts are with his family and all who mourn his loss.

Eric’s connection to IDA began through his mother, Barbara Greenberg, a founding member of the organization who served on its Board of Directors for decades. Her dedication and longstanding service have helped shape IDA and its mission.
